The candidate chosen for this position will be responsible for providing technical support within the


  • Assist in planning, design, documentation and implementation of various systems to

include desktop PCs, servers, network equipment and software applications

  • Develop, maintain and monitor procedures for all servers backup
  • Manage and oversee administration of VMW, Citrix and AS400 systems
  • Operate and maintain communication switches and hubs
  • Review system logs and take measures regarding findings
  • Monitor, plan and coordinate the distribution of client/server software and service packs
  • Perform on-site and remote technical support
  • Assist in the organization and inventory of all hardware and software resources
  • Provide emergency on-call support
  • Provide input into IT policies and development
  • Ensure all software is properly licensed and up to date
  • Provide IT support to computer users within the office
  • Assist in configuring, monitoring and maintaining all global network hardware and

software including switches, routers, firewalls, servers, enterprise applications and WAN
infrastructure between facilities
Second level support for primary desktop support role

  • Coordinate with outside IT vendors for North American software licenses, printer leases,

and internet connectivity


  • Efficiency with troubleshooting software and hardware problems

  • Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate the completion of work
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and perform self-directed research
  • Ability to synthesize complex or diverse information, collect and research data, use

intuition and experience to complement data, design work flows and procedures

  • 2+ years hands on network experience on Cisco device: Catalyst switch, Router and

firewall, Wireless LAN Controller.

  • Computer-related post-secondary education

  • At least one year experience with Windows operating systems
  • Windows servers 2010 and up; Exchange servers 2010 and up
  • Solid knowledge of LSN/WAN configuration to include experience with routers & switches,

Internet, firewalls and wireless technology

  • Experience setting up VPNs
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office professional tools
  • Knowledge of AS400 is a plus
  • Telephony/VOIP experience is a plus
  • Familiar with TCP/IP protocol set, like VTP, QoS, OSPF, BGP, DNS, DHCP
