Off2Class is a SaaS tool for English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers and schools. Some of the largest online ESL schools on the web are powered by us, as well as many bricks-and-mortar programs. We bridge the physical and online learning environments and are coding the future of how the teacher-led language learning process functions. We are bootstrapped, founder-led, and profitable.

Off2Class is looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to help drive a rapid expansion into our core markets (US/LATAM/Europe) and segments (private language institutes/higher education/private k12).

This is an uncapped commission opportunity (with base). If you are successful in this role, you can expect to advance to an account executive position within 6 months to a year.

This is a particularly good fit, for someone with sales experience in the international education sector (e.g. private language institutes) or the education technology sector (e.g. software sales to schools).

This is an ideal role for an early career, energetic professional who is excited for an opportunity to drive enterprise-level sales at a rapidly growing company.

Attitude is more important than experience. We're going to teach you everything you need to know about enterprise-level software sales, but it is essential that you are receptive to the mentorship and training.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Building the credibility of Off2Class with prospects by using key marketing assets, scripts and processes.

Gathering and documenting key pieces of information about prospects in order to inform down-funnel, pipeline activities

Making outbound calls, answering inbound requests, conducting demos and presentations, and qualifying leads.

Minimum Qualifications:

You love to work. You love to learn. You are ambitious and you can display this through your personal, academic and extracurricular track record to date
You have an outgoing and engaging personality
You are highly organized and resourceful and can easily find answers to your daily challenges (you instinctively know that Google is the best place to start)
You are comfortable with learning how to cold call and face rejection (you know that nobody has ever been seriously injured from prospecting!)
You are highly comfortable with learning new software tools as needed

We are a tool for English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers. Your English language communication skills must be impeccable.

Preferred Qualifications:

1-2 years experience in a sales or lead generation role ideally in the education software or international education sectors
Experience using Hubspot as a CRM and Intercom for customer support
Experience learning other languages
Working fluency in spoken Spanish
