North Middlesex Facility Operator (40 hours/week) – Six (6) Month Contract Position

Reporting to the Recreation/Facilities Manager, provides operational facilities maintenance and supervision of municipal property and facilities. Assist Community groups to set-up, conduct events and break-down municipal facilities for municipal events and for public rentals. Work in all
areas of municipal facilities including the arena (maintaining ice surface, perform plant readings, use and maintain ice-resurfacer), community halls, open space, parks and trails, playing fields and municipal cemeteries, while providing excellent customer service.

40 Hours/Week – hours may vary outside normal operating hours including nights and weekends as required.
Education RequirementSecondary School Diploma Experience Requirement
- Completion of Secondary School, preferably with a background in trades
- Keen interest working in a team environment
- Excellent internal and external customer service abilities
- Must be physically capable of carrying out the essential duties of the job
- Maintain a valid Class G. licence
- Certified Ice Technician would be considered an asset
RATE OF PAY Rate of Pay – $19.76 – $23.12
