The Sr. Database Administrator role is to design, install, monitor, maintain and performance tune databases while ensuring high levels of data availability. This individual will also be responsible for integrity and availability of databases. The Senior Database Administrator will report to the Senior Manager.


We are looking for someone who will recommends solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications.

Maintains database performance by calculating optimum values for database parameters; implementing new releases; completing maintenance requirements; evaluating computer operating systems and hardware products.
Supports database functions by designing and coding utilities.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


You Have;

5+ years of experience with database administration support using Oracle Installation and
Database creation and upgrade of Oracle database versions 11g & 12c.
5 Years of experience with RAC (Real Application Cluster) – setup, configure and support
5 years of experience with Automatic Storage Management (ASM) – setup, configure and support.
5 Years of experience with Data Guard– setup, configure and support.
Knowledge of Security and Auditing.
Knowledge of Database performance and tuning, Database replication tools. Database upgrades/migrations
Familiar with OEM/Grid Control (11g & 12c)
24x7 production support
Experience with Oracle Exadata , Oracle Golden Gate
Experience with Database setup in a Cloud environment
Must have strong Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
Must have Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Must have Strong ability to keep information organized and confidential.
Must have Strong ability in event planning.
Must have Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Working knowledge of Oracle OLAP, OWB, OEM, Perl, MS-SQL and Sybase.
Oracle Database Administrator Certification (OCP)
