Analyst, Compensation & HRIS
The Analyst, Compensation & HRIS supports the Human Resources function and provides analytical and technical support for the development, reporting and governance of compensation and HRIS programs. The Analyst, Compensation & HRIS is responsible for ongoing employee and compensation data management and administration; HR data integrity and privacy; compensation and workforce management systems (Workday, Anaplan, Ceridian Dayforce, etc); and compensation processes.
Compensation Reporting & Administration:
Process, administer and analyze the annual bonus and merit increase program.
Prepare and review bonus and merit letters.
Validate and update employees changes related to compensation throughout the year.
Support planning and communication of compensation programs and practices, including but not limited to: job evaluations/re-evaluations, make salary recommendations for new hires, pay equity review.
Build compensation metrics, data, and reports to support compensation program decisions, forecasts and trends.
Ensure timely transition of year-end compensation data file to Payroll manager for payment of salary increases and incentives to employees.
Ensures internal market data is updated annually (or as required) with benchmark data and ensure job matches remain relevant and accurate.
Prepare offer letters for new hires.
Rewards & Recognition Administration:
Assist in the rollout of new rewards and recognition programs.
Develop models for awards and obtain approvals as required.
Liaise with vendor and Payroll Manager to implement program.
HRIS Reporting and Administration:
Participate in HRIS projects such as Workday enhancement initiatives and Global/Americas alignment projects.
Maintain data integrity within HRIS.
Ensure employee information is up-to-date and accurate in HRIS.
Analyze and interpret data from HRIS to prepare strategic and ad hoc reports.
Provide on-going support for the set up and maintenance of the HRIS structure.
Provide the HR team with data to support HR programs and business cases.
Prepare monthly and quarterly headcount reporting (internal and external regulatory reporting) and general reporting for management.
Support HR initiatives by consolidating data, summarizing results and key trends, updating materials, and preparing reports and presentations to meet local and global requirements.
Update org chart on a monthly basis, Anaplan Reconciliation & Administration:
Reconcile and update HR data in Anaplan.
Act as a backup to support Payroll and Benefits Administration
Advanced analytical functions in MS Excel to conduct data analysis and management.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong project management skills.
Minimum (3) years' experience in compensation preferable within a large, complex and matrix environment or financial institution.
High level of attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality required.
Experience in research, analytical, and problem solving skills to provide analytical and technical support to compensation and HRIS functions and programs.
Must have experience working with Workday.
Completion of a relevant degree/diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent.
Completion (or in progress) CHRP, Compensation Professional (CCP) would be an asset.
