We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst who is passionate about improving products to help people live well. Help us build digital health products and services to advance healthcare for patients faced with chronic disease.
What you will do:
Ensure the quality of multi-platform, web-enabled products that connect patients to healthcare providers that are deployed in operational healthcare systems.
Become familiar with product design and its objectives to empathize with the mindset of end users – persons who live with complex chronic conditions, their caregivers, busy clinicians – to better anticipate, explore, and identify relevant failure modes.
Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test plans based upon business, user, and system requirements.
Work with Software Developers to develop test cases and protocols. Discover, document, and verify defects in products undergoing development.
Verify, document, and escalate defects that are reported in released products.
Work with Product Managers to ensure that processes required for the quality management system are implemented, adhered to, and updated as required.
Lean on your 2+ year track record of:
Applying your Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience to performing quality assurance for software products, preferably in a medical device company
Testing web and/or mobile components as part of a software development life cycle process for 2+ shipped products
Documenting defects with clear and reproducible attention to detail
Implementing ISO 13485 or similar quality management system protocols
Collaborating and communicating in 5+ member multi-disciplinary teams
Engaging with peers of varying technical and non-technical backgrounds
Charge through our development process with experience in:
Agile-based teamwork using ticketing systems like Jira
Communicating test activities with tools like Confluence, Excel
Troubleshooting web APIs with tools like Postman, Insomnia
Leveraging test automation tools like Cypress
Diving into various technologies like Safari, Chrome, Firefox, iOS, Android, Bluetooth, and consumer medical devices (e.g. glucometer, blood pressure cuff)
