Job Description

The WE Squad analyst in this role will be seen as a leader and expert on process improvement and automation capabilities. They will support the identification of opportunities, building business cases / implementation plans, and change execution. The team members will be involved in supporting the end-to-end delivery life cycle of process improvement with the following key responsibilities:

Assesses process automation opportunities with Business SME input, develops to-be process design (using Lean principles), and participates in testing and deployment activities as required
Support and execute business automation initiatives across FinOps
Conduct research and analysis of key issues, involving relevant stakeholders and other internal/external groups as necessary
Facilitate and lead information gathering sessions with business partners to define a problem, understand scope and/or document a current state or future state process flows
Lead the planning, organizing and executing of continuous improvement projects from conceptual stage through to implementation
Define, quantify and measure benefits for process improvement initiatives
Conduct review of the design and testing deliverables to ensure the solution meets the business requirements
Analyze impacts to customers, stakeholders, employees, process, technology and budgets of selected solutions
Responsible for project management of initiatives; tracks status against timelines, and identifies and escalates risks to Squad leader when required
Undertake and complete a variety of projects and initiatives with minimal guidance/supervision
Build visualizations, dashboards and reports
Supports and may contribute to communication and change management activities
Support FinOps' colleagues with quick-response assistance of a variety of technical challenges as required during defined reporting periods

Job Requirements

Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and tactfully with a variety of stakeholders, including senior executives, both verbally and through written materials
Demonstrated knowledge of key Finance issues (accounting, treasury, tax, capital, etc.) and processes
Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, including multiple concurrent projects, and meet challenging timelines
Strong change management expertise, comfortable working with ambiguity
Excellent analytical and problem- solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment on multiple deliverables
Works independently as the senior or lead business analyst and coaches and guides members within area of expertise
Proactive and highly motivated individual with good work ethic and time management skills are essential
Strong team player with excellent communication, relationship management, consensus building and influencing skills
Solid understanding of process improvements such as Lean
Technically savvy with specific experience in Robotic Process Automation tools (i.e. Blue Prism) would be an asset
Experience delivering projects using Agile principles and tools such as JIRA would be an asset
Advanced to expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Access, VBA Programming)
Strong to advanced knowledge of tools for Data blending (Alteryx) and visualization (Tableau) preferred
Experience with MS SQL stack, SQL DB, SSIS, SSAS Tabular would be an asset
Knowledge of TD Technology – including Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), FDMEE, Essbase experience – and Infrastructure processes would be an asset
