Monitor a portfolio of high yield companies across a variety of sectors

Perform detailed credit analysis, covering management strategy, operations, competitive environment, and business risk

Assess complex corporate and capital structures, liquidity risk and corporate governance

Analyze and interpret legal documents for these companies and in connection with transactions

Provide initial rating recommendations for new issuers and recommend changes to ratings of existing issuers to a rating committee

Prepare written analyses to support analytical judgments and publish written opinions for companies on a timely and regular basis

Write detailed company research and related industry research

Manage assigned issuer relationships, including working with senior level and C-level executives and managing relationships with credit issuers, investors and intermediaries

Mentor team Associate Analysts


MBA or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field and at least 3 years of experience as Associate Analyst or in a related position involving credit analysis. Will also accept a Bachelor’s degree in stated or related fields and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate exp. in stated or related position.

Experience should include: credit analysis of high yield issuers; assessing complex corporate and capital structures; interpreting legal documents for high yield companies and transactions; working with senior level and C-level executives and managing relationships with credit issuers, investors and intermediaries; and preparing written analyses to support analytical judgments.
