Responsible to the Manager, Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) for delivering the objectives of a project(s) as defined by the Project Sponsor.
Working with the project team to define project scope and obtaining agreement with the Project Sponsor, Program Manager and Business Analyst on the definition of scope.
Estimating project work effort. Developing the project plan, schedule and budget, and obtaining agreement with key managerial stakeholders. While controlling quality, project tracking versus planned and taking appropriate corrective actions as required. Performing appropriate steps to bring project to a proper closure.
Negotiating with resource managers to staff the project.
Communicating plans, actions, project status, risks and issues with key stakeholders in a timely fashion.
Ensuring all technical, business and people issues that impact the project are properly resolved.
Managing relationships with external software, hardware or people resources.
Bachelor's degree College / University in a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience with a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated project management competencies.
PMP and/or PRINCE2 designation would be an asset. Proven experience with waterfall, iterative waterfall, and agile scrum project execution would be an asset.
Excellent understanding of project management methodology, including planning, estimating, executing and controlling. Proven experience managing an Information Technology project.

CONSIDERED AN ASSET:
Familiarity with Hardware / Lumber and Building Materials (LBM) retail and distribution processes.
