IDENTITY AND ACCESS MANAGEMENT (IAM) ANALYST
What you will do:
Under the supervision of the manager or the senior IAM analyst, executes the day-to-day development, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and enhancement of the organization’s Identity and Access Model to ensure a stable processing environment. Maintains User IDs and privileges in accordance with the users’ job responsibilities and Symcor’s policy and standards. Ensures that access to client systems using client provided access controls abide by client security requirements.
Under supervision of the manager or senior IAM analyst, assist team in the management, implementation and monitoring of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies and platforms to ensure control effectiveness in accordance with applicable policies, standards and procedures.
Execute the IAM lifecycle to ensure that administration and monitoring, including attestation, are performed to Client and Symcor’s standards.
Under supervision, assist in maintaining the Identity and Access Management Support Procedures document (“IAM Client Document”), outlining the processes used for the provisioning and monitoring of access required by Symcor to client systems and applications. Participate in remediation activities in response to access re-certification, audit and/or assessment findings pertaining to inappropriate user access.
What you need to have to succeed:
Completion of a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in a related discipline or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent.
Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in Identity and Access Management in large, mission-critical environments with a background in the following:
Basic understanding of Microsoft’s Active Directory structure including Organizational Units, User Accounts, Group Memberships, and access rights.
Knowledge of ID management and User provisioning
Familiarity with current and evolving information security requirements and standards.
Good written and verbal skills
