Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced lead renovator to work in the Ottawa and surrounding area. The ideal candidate will be detailed oriented and responsible for managing residential renovation projects ranging from bathroom, kitchen, and full home renovations. A proficient understanding of all residential remodeling aspects is required including wood frame construction. The successful candidates will have an in-depth knowledge of all construction techniques used from rough carpentry to finish work, while providing customer service skills as well as working in a team environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Reporting daily activities while providing a sequence of project schedules
  • Coordinating materials & delivery schedules
  • Coordinating scheduling of sub-trades
  • Maintaining construction documents, shop drawings, and associated paperwork
  • Managing 1- 2 apprentices/labors on site
  • Production including; plumbing, drywall, demolition, framing, finishing, etc.
  • Day to day quality control/ maintaining job site safety & cleanliness
  • Preforming on-site inspections & walk throughs with according personnel

  • All training must be up to date – WHMIS, Fall Protect, Workers Health & Safety Awareness
  • Must have valid driver’s license (G) and reliable transportation
  • 3-5 years’ experience in remodeling trades
  • Provide all the necessary tools
  • English required
