Our Brampton location is presently looking for a Analyst, Inventory Control to join our team.
The Analyst, Inventory Control – Warehouse (IC-W) is accountable for continuously monitoring inventory accuracy, investigating root causes of inventory discrepancies and leading physical inventory and cycle count processes for materials related to warehouse operations at B132, B130 and our offsite 3PL facilities. Additionally, the IC-W is responsible for maintaining all procedures and protocols regarding proper inventory control for items under the Warehouse and Distribution departments’ control.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assess and monitor warehouse and 3PL inventory transactions for completeness and correctness and facilitate resolutions when and where required
- Coordinate with Supply-Chain to manage inventory adjustments and required inventory transfers
- Assists in inventory risk assessment and mitigation activities
- Investigates and identifies the root causes of inventory variances
- Manages, coordinates and performs physical inventory and cycle count processes
- Maintains Over, Short & Damage (OS&D) reporting and timely postings in SAP
- Participates in the creation and performance of Inventory Diagnostics - i.e. day-start processes and investigations
- Supports Order Picking by resolving stock outages, incorrect items, and damaged goods found during processing – ensures that items not ready/suitable for release are maintained in non-nettable SLOCs
- Regularly monitors inventory stock statuses to ensure timely actions prevent problems and errors from aging
- Ensures transactions balance for all movements within our warehouses and/or to/from our 3PL service providers – identifies and corrects non-conformities keeping our SAP and external inventories in synch
- Participates in the development and maintenance of inventory investigation and monitoring tools (i.e. Crystal Reports)
- Performs warehouse inventory control duties using powered equipment (Reach Truck + Pallet Rider/Walkie)
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

University degree
- Minimum 5-years of warehousing experience with exposure to inventory processes, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry; combined with a working knowledge of pharma inventory compliance requirements
- High Level of attention to detail and strong mathematical and analysis capabilities
- Strong problem-solving and excellent time management skills
- Valid forklift license (Reach and Rider/Walkie)
- Experience with computerized inventory systems required – SAP preferred
- Personal organizational skills sufficient to keep current and in synch, several databases and spreadsheets with the ability to extract information and analyze related data clearly and efficiently
- Skilled in the creation of summaries, reports, and dashboards
- Ability to work with frequent interruptions and changes in priorities
- MS Excel – Intermediate skill level and able to create and use pivot tables/charts, formulas and VLOOKUP’s
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Attention to detail, with thoroughness and follow through
- Ability to manage and organize large amounts of data and provide statistical analyses
- Ability to innovate and bring improvements to processes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and with team members and related departments to negotiate priorities, clarify procedures and identify solutions to issues that arise
- Participate in the resolution of daily workflow issues (i.e. confirming the return of offsite materials)
- Escalates issues to Manager in a timely manner, where appropriate
