Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Receptionist/Administrative Support Clerk to join the teams at West Vancouver Community Health Centre and Central Community Health Centre on the North Shore. Apply today to join our team!

As a Receptionist/Administrative Support Clerk you will:
Use considerable tact and diplomacy to provide communication, information and reception services, administrative support functions and other duties relating to program activities as assigned by the Manager and/or delegate.
Exhibit current working knowledge of applicable computer systems and software programs.
Maintain your own general knowledge of business office procedures such as establishing and maintaining filing systems, typing a variety of non-technical material.
Maintains levels of stationery supplies.

Education & Experience

Grade 12 plus two year’s recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Knowledge & Abilities

Ability to keyboard 5000 keystrokes per hour.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to work with frequent interruptions and adapt to changes.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others.
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.
Ability to analyze, problem solve and take initiative.
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
