Job Summary
The Registered Nurse exemplifies the standards of nursing practice as defined by The College of Nurses (January 1996), which is described in the six core professional standards: professional service to the public, knowledge, application of knowledge, ethics, continued competence and professional behaviour, accountability/responsibility
Qualifications
  • RN Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Competence in BCLS
  • Three years recent Operating Room nursing experience and successful completion of a recognized Perioperative course
  • CPN © certification preferred
  • Demonstrates excellence in communication, both written and verbal
  • Analysis / problem assessment
  • Innovative and willing to learn
  • Commitment to customer service and teamwork
  • Demonstrates individual leadership skills
