See yourself in our story as a Training Facilitator
We currently have a full-time opportunity in our Administrative office in SW Calgary. Reporting to the Manager of Learning and Development, the Training Facilitator is responsible for facilitating internal workshops related to but not exclusive to orientation, compliance, and culture. They are also part of the team and contributing to the development, design, and evaluation of training programs, curricula, and materials.
Key responsibilities include:
Facilitate workshops using a variety of instructional techniques and formats.
Support internal facilitator recruiting, auditing, training, and coaching
Research content and, liaise with subject matter experts
Apply knowledge of adult learning principles and modern learning tools and techniques to design clear, concise, engaging, effective and interactive learning experiences for a variety of audiences.
Develop post-training support and reinforcement tools to ensure knowledge retention and drive improved performance and business outcomes.
3+ years of experience in a facilitator capacity with excellent presentation, communication and facilitation skills.
Ability to manage classroom training and work seamlessly with all levels of staff and management.
Experience applying instructional design and adult learning principles.
Certification in adult learning, train the trainer and Comfortable with multimedia presentation equipment is an asset.
Must have valid class 5 drivers’ license and access to a vehicle, as the role would involve driving within Calgary.
