We are currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic team within a rapidly growing company.


Job purpose

The Warehouse Supervisor directs all receiving and shipping activities and manages the finished products warehousing according to operational objectives. He or she is responsible for the overall success of warehousing and distributional operations.

Duties and responsibilities

Plans, organizes, directs and controls the operations of the shipping department according to procedures of work in force.
Controls the inputs and outputs of goods and ensures that receipt and dispatch documents are completed according to standards.
Ensures the maintenance of standards of cleanliness, quality and safety.
Coordinates product transfers between warehouses.
Supervises the organization of fixtures and maintenance of rentals for products by optimizing the use of spaces.
Supervises and controls inventory counts.
Plans and coordinates preventive maintenance of rolling stock and other equipment in warehouses.
Oversees the complete process of receiving and validating data and transactions to the IFS system.
Manages the execution of the inter-warehouse freight movement plan including transportation.
Ensures the delivery of daily shipping schedule
Verifies the required inventory levels at the main warehouse and lists the transfer requirements from the 3PL.
Participates in decision-making strategies for optimum space management and storage cost management; Recommends and executes activities for optimum management of spaces.
Keeps track of work procedures in warehouses.
Direct and offer ongoing training to all team members.
Oversees equipment and site maintenance activities according to current standards.
Adhere to our Bargaining Collective Agreement and Health & Safety procedures


  • College Degree (administration or operations management) and three years of experience or secondary V and eight years of experience.
  • Bilingual (French/ English).
  • Experience in supervising staff in a unionized environment.
  • Health and Safety oriented person.
  • Forklift truck certified.
  • Strong leadership and team spirit.
  • Problem-solving skills.

  • Supervision of the quality of work and compliance with procedures
  • Daily effort to ensure the layout of workplaces.
  • Lifts boxes and other objects of medium weight and handling of handling equipment.
