Muscular Dystrophy Canada’s mission is to enhance the lives of those affected with neuromuscular disorders by continually working to provide ongoing support and resources while relentlessly searching for a cure through well funded research.
Reporting to the Manager, Program and Services and in keeping with the mission, vision and values of Muscular Dystrophy Canada the Services Specialist is responsible for offering services, programs and support for individuals, families and groups affected by a neuromuscular disorders.
The successful candidate will possess:
This position requires a dynamic individual with a positive attitude, the ability to motivate others, superior written and verbal communication skills, and strong public speaking skills. Awareness of health and disability issues and the ability to use Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge 7 would be considered an asset.
This position requires a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle, with evening and weekend work required, along with regular travel throughout Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
