Medical Secretary – GTA
Helix Hearing Corporation is looking for a dynamic Medical Secretary (Full time, Permanent) in the GTA to help us in fulfilling our vision of having the most satisfied customers in hearing care. This entails providing outstanding clinical and customer services which includes customized customer-centered plans for everyone who walks through our doors. With over 100 clinics across Canada, in multiple provinces, we strive to offer flexibility with respect to location and development within the organization
Must have a minimum 3 years clinic or related experience, preferred secretarial or education in medical office management.
The ideal candidate must be versatile, thorough, detail oriented, have impeccable organizational skills, and be comfortable with people. Proficiency is required in Windows, general office equipment, electronic mail, electronic scheduler, word processing, spreadsheets, and database software. Comply with guidelines & protocols.
Travel will be required to provide coverage to clinics in the surrounding GTA.
The medical secretary role is responsible for completion of a variety of duties, but, not limited to administration tasks.

Organizing: Is efficient in use of time and resources. Manages information, data and files appropriately.

Quality Focus: Ensures that company policies and procedures are adhered to, ensure industry and regulatory protocols for services are set and adhered to.
Self-Management: Works independently within prescribed parameters, can discern the relevance of issues and communicates them effectively to other staff and supervisors.
High level of administrative and data management support to the Clinic operations and services, as well as a high level of customer (patient) satisfaction.
Computer/Keyboard skill. Proficient with MS Windows and Office. Testing may be used to determine skills in this area.

Graduate of a recognized Medical Office Administration program is a strong asset
Knowledge of medical terminology
