Reporting to the Planning Manager, the Facility and Maintenance Planner ensure the delivery and support of a finished quality simulator device to the CCCD team.

The Facility and Maintenance Planner plans, organizes and directs activities and personnel involved in the maintenance, administration, design, coordination and/or modification of facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities:
Anticipate space, facility and equipment requirements by developing and recommending plans responsive to business need.

Monitor facility standards and requirements.

Guide and direct the activities of personnel involved in various operations and functions.

Participates in subcontractor’s identification, selection and coordinate activities to ensure the most economical application and utilization.

Recommend bid acceptance after evaluating proposals/bids for various design, contracts or follow-up services as required.

Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure achievement of budget and schedule objectives.

Provide design and space criteria inclusive of coordinating final approval of facility designs.

Investigate and evaluate new materials, systems and equipment for facilities programs as required.

Develop, plan, organize and assign the workflow of the group/department and ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Develop, establish and modify departmental methods and processes and implement company policies and procedures in relation to functional activities.

Receive guidance/direction from higher-level management or leaders when implementing longer range strategic objectives.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements:
Relevant Engineering degree with minimum 3 years of related experience or DEC/DEP degree with minimum 5 to 8 years of related experience

Demonstrated experience in planning maintenance activities

Experience in project management

Must be bilingual (French/ English)

Knowledge of ERP, CMMS or any other management system

Must be proficient in MS software, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel

Must be self-driven and autonomous
