Who we need

Project X is looking to add a Director of Sales, who will play a critical role in furthering our rapid growth through leading our sales team as they produce a profitable, growing, and well managed book of business opportunities.The Director will have a deep understanding of Project X's capabilities and how to support clients through strong relationship building and a consultative selling approach Reporting to the President, they will play the role of a trusted partner to our clients and create custom business plans and ensure predicable sales engagement.

What our Director Of Sales will do:
Develop and build a deep understanding of Project X Ltd.'s service offerings, capabilities, solutions, differentiating value and internal delivery processes
Develop relationships with new clients and existing clients and Identify cross-selling opportunities within our client base and collaborate with members of the technical teams to pursue and close those opportunities
Account planning for complex enterprise sales situations and complete needs analysis to build customized solutions for clients
Lead the sales and proposal process, including pricing and work with Practice Managers on resourcing
Maintain ongoing trusted relationships with customers and develop an understanding of customer, customer's Industry and customer's business including; personnel, corporate initiatives, culture, IT environment and KPIs
Develop knowledge in sub areas of the Data and Analytics space (i.e. UX/UI, Big Data, ML/AI, Data Engineering, BI, DW, Governance, etc.) and Knowledge of trends and vendors in the marketplace
Manage a team of 3 direct reportees by mentoring and coaching them to their highest potential.
Maximize team performance through an effective team approach that increases productivity and job satisfaction.
Host and facilitate sales events and promote and exemplify the company's culture and our core values daily.

And how do we know that's you? You have:
Over 8 years of experience in Sales with a minimum of 4 at the management level
Practical experience in consultative selling, understanding a customer's business and needs with the ability to open new discussions and opportunities
General knowledge in Enterprise IT environments (specifically Data & Analytics), user experience design, and strategic services
Demonstrated skills in developing well-positioned and thoughtful materials and presentations
Above average skills in solution-based approaches to solving problems, level-headed decision making, time management, project management , relationship building and change management
An ability to work with the engagement teams to ensure that the account work is projected and accurately represented
Experience in collaborating with internal teams and clients, displaying an empathy-forward approach and working with stakeholders to create optimal solutions.
Proven skills in leadership and Integrity, establishing high-trust relationships and understanding what motivates and engages teams
Demonstrated ability to learn new products/services and environments and extract meaning from data and communicate metrics and insights that allow the business to achieve outstanding results
The ability to thrive in a growing, dynamic and highly-autonomous environment and enjoy the challenge of being self-motivated and driven
Meet deadlines and commitments, be results-driven, action-oriented and motivated by getting things across the finish line.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to deliver presentations,lead customer discussions from planning, execution and deployment and through to ongoing support and subsequent engagements
