Reporting to the National Manager, Controlling, the Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for overseeing the analysis and reporting function. Responsibilities will include reviewing the actual financial performance and conduct analysis, analyzing business line and product margin/profitability, as well as, working closely with business lines to steer the targets achievement. Additional responsibilities include new product/sales program business case evaluation, supporting audit requests (internal and external audits) and the maintenance of Finance related systems.
Reviewing and analyzing monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for Senior Management, Business Lines and Headquarters.
Responsible for the analysis of actual results versus budget/forecast, and driving the attention to Senior Management and Business Lines to steer target achievement.
Closely working with multi-functions to have in-depth understanding of business performance and identify potential risk and opportunities to improve the performance.
Responsible for the development of analysis relating to financial performance modelling and profitability steering.
Responsible for the new product/sales program cost-benefit business case evaluation.
Responsible for the monthly analysis reporting submission and communications with Headquarters on financial results.
Responsible for creating and maintaining Tableau reports.
Reviewing and supporting internal and external audit requests.
Providing guidance related to chart of account issues and interpretation of accounting standards with respect to accounting transactions.
Providing guidance related to IFRS and Headquarter Reporting/Controlling guidelines.
Ensuring sound understanding of forecast and budget submission figures.
Ensuring corporate guidelines/policies are followed.
Providing ad hoc analysis as required.
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Accounting or Finance is required
Finance Designation (CPA, CFA, MBA), or near completion, is required
3-5 years of relevant, professional finance experience (financial analyst experience is preferred)
Strong mathematical aptitude and proven analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Advanced PC skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, & PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL, etc.)
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high demand team environment
Experience with SAP is preferred
