Functions and duties:
Support and continue to enhance the health, safety and environment culture of the organization and our clients organizations.
Administration of contract
Maintain and advance client relations and expectations
Management of technical, administrative and craft personnel
Liaise with client and coordinate with engineering personnel
Plan, organize and direct all activities as required for the full implementation of project goals and objectives
Monitor cost, in conjunction with the Project Superintendent, the project’s material and labour, and ensure accurate quality reporting is being conducted
Ensure that project activities are consistent with the project objectives and that objectives can be met with available resources
Ensure the project meets targets, budgets and time-lines, with appropriate reporting and evaluation
Have the ability to read, interpret, analyze and forecast a project’s cost reports and determine the status of the job in terms of schedule and costing
Develop, complete and finalize all project deliverables according to the timeline
Establish and maintain the flow of information and positive working relationships with subcontractors, customers, material suppliers and other internal and external individuals having an interest in the success of the project
Building links for collaborative work and sharing information
Organize and coordinate the consultations and meetings
Ensure and maintain effective and on-going communication with individuals and groups involved directly or indirectly in the project
Continually monitor the progress of the project
Setting reasonable, challenging and clear expectations for people, and holding them accountable for meeting the expectations. This includes providing good performance feedback to team members
Engage in other project-related tasks

Particularities:
Experiences in mechanical and electrical maintenance or turnaround
Experience working with pressure piping, instrumentation, electrical, rotating equipment and fixed equipment.
Degree or diploma in engineering or MBA degree plus equivalent experience
Experience in project management, project evaluation and budgeting
Having the discipline and general management skills to make sure that people follow the standard processes and procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and including report writing, position paper development and publication/presentation of research results
Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance
Excellent interpersonal, time management, problem solving and organizational skills
Knowledge of Word, WordPerfect, PowerPoint and Excel
Experience in Industrial maintenance (Oil & Gas, Mining) is an asset
Self motivated
Ability to produce quality work with little guidance
Good communication skills
Experience planning, budgeting, estimation
Experience with labour relations

Working Conditions:
Day shift, 10 to 12 hours per day
Shift to be determined
Working Northern Alberta
