We are looking for a highly capable Operations Manager to support our Moncton, Springhill & Truro locations (base location is flexible).

Responsibilities:
In the position of Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to overseeing the daily activities of all residential collections for Moncton, New Brunswick, Springhill and Truro, Nova Scotia. The Operations manager will support the Route Supervisor to coordinate and organize the workforce and collection fleet. Maintain contact with municipal representatives, customers, operators, dispatch, customer service and sales staff to ensure that the contract is operating at the required performance level. You will monitor employee attendance, productivity, safety standards, professional image and all other applicable Company policies and procedures. You will work closely with the District Equipment Manager to ensure the fleet is maintained in the highest of standards. You will be responsible for all productivity reporting and work closely with the District Manager and Operational Analyst to ensure a profitable operation. All while creating and maintaining a positive work environment and high performance team culture.

Requirements:
Successful candidates will have a minimum three (3) years management experience with preference being given to those with previous experience within the waste industry and a class 3 license. A minimum college diploma with a focus on business or accounts are also required. You must have the ability to stay organized and problem solve to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment and maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude even in adverse situations. You will need to have good keyboarding and computer skills and be very comfortable with Excel, Word, and Outlook. Excellent interpersonal skills along with written and verbal communication skills are a must. You will be supporting multiple locations and as such frequent travel within the locations will be required.
