JOB DESCRIPTION: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Overview – IT System Administrator with focus on SCCM Admin: The System Client Configuration Manager (SCCM) Administrator provides operation and technical engineering support for the implementation, testing, integration, and sustainment of SCCM. Candidatewill provide application technology and server support in a large-scale Enterprise environment. Responsibilities include the design, deployment, and administration of SCCM. Additional responsibilities include automation via SCCM, Operating System Deployments (OSD) and the use of Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT). Daily Activities: Manage and monitor the request and incident queue within their area of concentration. Proactively remediate problems and suggest corrective action when needed. Evaluate and understand application delivery requirements. Must have hands on working knowledge of SCCM and all of its components. Technical/Functional Expertise: Demonstrating broad, in-depth, and up-to-date working knowledge in the areas of complex applications for global delivery using System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). General knowledge of SCCM as it relates to scripts deployed, strong testing, troubleshooting of application scripts to resolve for business requirements. Work with the Packaging and Deployment team members to deliver software applications to global users. A general working knowledge in the area of Microsoft Windows Products including Win10 and new operating systems to come. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or Management Information Systems and 5+ years IT Application Scripting experience. Required Skills: Experience in engineering of SCCM setups and configurations to implement upgrades to new versions of SCCM. Ability to support and maintain an enterprise environment and hand off to the operations team to carry out. Be able to multi-task and serve as a team player in a fast-paced environment with the ability to help out in areas outside of expertise if necessary. Identify processes that are currently being done manually, or inefficiently, and find ways to automate (Via SCCM, Powershell, etc.). Utilized MDT and SCCM to develop images for automated operations.
