Individual will be responsible for developing spares modeling to compute target stock levels to achieve performance metrics for the Canadian C-130J Through Life Support (TLS) contract. This candidate’s job responsibilities involve predictive inventory determination and optimization through the iterative use of Sustainment Modeling software. Will use statistical analysis to analyze technical data, field data and maintenance reports to determine stocking levels, reorder points and spare part recommendations to achieve costs and performance objectives. The candidate should understand Performance Based Logistics and will perform “what-if” modeling as required. Individual shall provide the technical services necessary to support initial and follow-on provisioning tasks employed as part of the overall Supply Chain Management system in order to ensure identification of spares to support the TLS contract. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Update and maintenance of provisioning documentation in the Logistics Support database including part data configuration information
Perform quality analysis, resolve issues and generate updates to the Canadian DRIMS supply/maintenance database
Provide inputs to engineering change releases and implementation life-cycle
Provide the necessary support to catalog parts in the Canadian Stock Number directory
Provide support for spares identification and application to the sustainment supply item manager
Develop and maintain provisioning processes and procedures
Develop annual demand / failure projections
Additionally, the individual will undertake supply related specialist tasks as directed by the LM Canada Logistics Management Analyst (LMA). Provide specialist supply/support expertise to existing and future Contractor Logistics Support initiatives. Provide advice and assistance to the LMA on all supply related matters with emphasis on sourcing, provisioning and supply of critical spare part shortages for all Deployed Inventory sites. Identify and support the development of more efficient and effective logistics business process. Support as required the LMA report activity and action item closure activities. Liaise on a day-to-day basis with the supply chain personnel in Marietta, establishing priorities, obtaining delivery forecasts and updating repairs/spares information.

Required skills, qualifications and experience
Bachelors degree in an engineering/technical discipline or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Experience with sustainment modeling, simulation and analysis. Able to collect and compile datasets from disparate data sources. Perform analysis using mathematical and statistical techniques
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding interpersonal and problem solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
Experience in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
Full knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Access, Excel, Word)
