Eastern College Inc., Moncton campus, is actively seeking an IT professional interested in joining the campus team to teach within our Advanced Systems Management and Cybersecurity program program.
Primary Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of this position is to provide quality delivery of assigned courses within the Information Technology programs, utilizing a variety of instruction strategies, techniques and delivery methods to meet the individual learning styles of the students, in a safe and civil learning environment. Instructors are responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, taking daily attendance, and as required, grading class tests, assignments and exams.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years practical knowledge and experience working in the information technology industry. Preferred candidates will be A+, Net+, and MCSA certified or be willing to become certified. In addition, CCNA, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst and CompTIA IT Project+ certifications are considered an asset. Experience with Windows 10 and PowerShell is preferred. The ability to enhance written material with personal experience is mandatory. Your professionalism combined with intermediate MS Office skills, superior English communication and organizational skills will be essential to success in this role.
Hours of Work: Hours of work for this position will be 8am - 12pm and/or 1pm-5pm, Monday to Friday.
Start Date: The scheduled start is November 2019.
