PROGRAM AREA: Community Development The SEED
CONTRACT LENGTH: September 1, 2019 to December 28, 2019
HOURS/WEEK: 20.5 hours/week

ABOUT THE SEED
This position is part of The SEED, a project of the Guelph Community Health Centre. The SEED's primary goal is to increase the food health of Guelph's low-income community members. The SEED's programs, services, and facilities also support the food health of other community members and contribute to Guelph's overall food security.
Valid G Driver's license
Criminal record check
Able to lift up to 50lbs consistently
A working understanding of Excel and Word software
Ability to work as an effective member of a team
Commitment to equity and anti-oppressive practices
Punctual and reliable

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES
Be punctual and reliable
Load the SEED delivery cube truck (heavy lifting)
Drive the SEED delivery cube truck to do deliveries
Unload deliveries to community partners (heavy lifting)
Receive and unload deliveries from wholesalers and farmers
Interact with community members and customers in a friendly manner
