Business Development Representative, Microsoft

The successful incumbent will be a main contact at SYNNEX for Microsoft Cloud and Volume Licensing product sales, customer and supplier related issues & opportunities at SYNNEX
Responsible for driving and increasing overall Microsoft Cloud and Volume Licensing revenue, market-share and reseller breadth
Know Microsoft Cloud and Volume Licensing products (windows, server and office) & SYNNEX Company vision & mission; strive to exceed expectations with every partner, every day and to maximize shareowner value
Quarterly review with manager and MICROSOFT team to ensure goals are being completed & next quarter’s goals are assigned
Responsible for driving and increasing overall Microsoft cloud & volume licensing revenue, market-share and reseller breadth
Represent Microsoft Cloud & Volume Licensing product categories at SYNNEX and at SYNNEX reseller events, trainings, functions, etc.
Help to initiate reseller partnership efforts with Microsoft as well as SYNNEX sales segments
Work with marketing and program management team to develop programs for demand creation and sales development
Up-selling and Cross-selling market complementary solutions into appropriate vertical segments
Know Microsoft Cloud and Volume Licensing products & SYNNEX Company vision & mission; strive to exceed expectations with every partner, every day and to maximize shareowner value
Weekly sync with the Microsoft Cloud and VL team to provide ideas, feedback and insights into the market
Quarterly review with manager and Microsoft team to ensure goals are being completed & next quarter’s goals are assigned
Constant visiting our partners to better understand their business and to maintain their relationship with SYNNEX
Achieve Microsoft Cloud and Volume Licensing goals
Get the most recent Microsoft Cloud certifications to meet Microsoft partnership requirements
Have knowledge of market trends for Microsoft Cloud and Volume Licensing product categories, demonstrate competence on Microsoft Cloud and Volume Licensing products, reviews trade publications and industry news
Support sales department and resellers regarding Microsoft Cloud and Volume Licensing questions
Research potential resellers for new resale opportunities
Assist the sales team with information connecting assigned products with other offerings
Position SYNNEX as the premier partner for both the vendor and resellers
Assist in coordinating and participating in SYNNEX’s Sales & Reseller training and activities
Attend SYNNEX and Microsoft events/conferences as appropriate
Work with Resellers and SYNNEX’s Sales to create awareness, drive solution sales and add-on sales & communicate with prospective Resellers the value the SYNNEX provides
Create and close business and work with Microsoft Cloud and Volume Licensing reps & SYNNEX’s sales reps daily by managing incoming calls from Resellers and SYNNEX Sales and holding weekly team meeting to discuss issues, new products/programs, opportunities, updates
Initiate partnership (engagement) efforts between Microsoft Cloud and Volume Licensing Sales and SYNNEX’s Sales (field & inside sales)
Work with SYNNEX management and Microsoft Cloud and Volume Licensing team (Marketing, Technical & Purchasing) on sales plans, goals and initiatives
Implement and manage all Microsoft Cloud and Volume Licensing programs, including building Reseller relationships and participating in targeted outbound calls daily; weekly reporting to MS team
Call on Microsoft Cloud and Volume Licensing Field and Inside Sales Reps to form relationship
Provide notification to SYNNEX Sales and Resellers on new Microsoft Cloud and Volume Licensing products and/or changes (create documents and follow up calls)
Your passion is sparked by:
Minimum high school diploma (Post- secondary education an asset)
Minimum 4-year sales / business development experience
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail & responsiveness
Strong technical knowledge
Superior customer relation skills
PC Literate (MS Office)
Ability to multitask (juggle duties effectively)
Extended hours required occasionally
