This role works with children 12 months to 5 years of age.
Safely transporting children to and from school.
Minor vehicle maintenance, checkups and reports.
Keep vehicle in pristine conditions always.
Uphold campus to health & safety standards
Build positive relationships with all Summit stakeholders including parents, landlords, community associations, etc.
Clean and maintain campus, toys, etc.
Update BambooHR for training goals and time-off.
Become familiar with Summit Policies & Procedures.
Facilitate interesting and engaging activities that are quality age appropriate programs.
Dedication to supporting the growth and healthy development of children that encourages an appreciation of learning.
Develop a good working knowledge of DayCare Works.
Be an advocate for Summit in all customer interactions.
Cultivate positive, professional relationships with children and their families.
Increased customer satisfaction.

Age appropriate play based learning.
Class 4 driving license would be an asset, but full-Class 5 is a must.
Clean driver's abstract is a must.
Comfortable driving in all weather conditions.
Excellent communication skills.
Highly organized and efficient.
Positive and enthusiastic.
Able to manage multiple situations simultaneously and working with a variety of people.
Must be certified or willing to obtain an Alberta Child Care certification.
Must be certified or working towards obtaining Standard Child Care and First Aid level C.
Must have a valid Police check with a vulnerable sector search - obtained within 3 months of employment.
Ability to work long shifts or varied hours to accommodate operational or corporate events - this includes staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
