The following responsibilities will make up the ideal candidate for this growing and innovative company:

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and submit service & parts customer invoices based on service & parts reports and estimates for approval; sending to customers on time
  • Assist with reporting (monthly and year-end)
  • Ensure all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable
  • Ensure administration and service accounts receivable are collected promptly
  • Assist in posting project-related supplier invoices and customer billings when required
  • Process shipping and brokerage supplier invoices for payment when applicable
  • Send out bill payment stubs to suppliers and partners for weekly payments
  • Complete credit and bank forms for new customers and suppliers
  • Maintain customer and supplier database in accounting software
  • Prepare accounts receivable collection report monthly with notes
  • Make up bank deposits and deposit them at bank location when required
  • Work in conjunction with Parts Coordinator to ensure parts inventory is booked correctly based on customer invoice and supplier bill
  • Organize and maintain all hard copy accounting files by fiscal year
  • Additional ad-hoc duties or assignments as required
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Accounting Diploma or equivalent experience;
  • Working towards an accounting designation preferred;
  • Minimum 3 years’ related experience;
  • Strong familiarity with QuickBooks; Salesforce and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel);
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Ability to problem solve and exercise good judgment;
  • Excellent at juggling several tasks simultaneously;
  • Superior data entry skills and solid understanding of accounting principles;
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: $43,000.00 to $45,000.00 /year
