As a member of the growing Canadian Legal & HR team, you will work closely with stakeholders in Canada and business partners around the Kellogg world to apply your practical Canadian legal advice to our critical commercial programs. You will partner with Marketing, Nutrition, Consumer Affairs, Corporate Communications and others to help develop engaging consumer contests and promotions and review advertising copy to bring our brands to life in exciting ways. You will also partner with other teams to find ways to help drive our company’s continued success. Together we will shape a stronger future for our company and your career!


Providing Broad-Ranging Legal Advice: Leverage your legal expertise to provide legal advice to partners across the business as you review, draft, and negotiate agreements, maintain corporate minute books, and conduct legal research to drive the business.

Reviewing Exciting Consumer Programs and Copy: Work directly with our creative Marketing, Nutrition, and Communications teams as they develop exciting consumer programs, initiatives, and material including contests and promotions that showcase our brands and engage our consumers.

Protecting our Intellectual Property: Fiercely defend our beloved brands and highly recognized marks by ensuring that we properly use and protect our intellectual property and protect against unauthorized use by others.

Building Cross-Functional Partnerships: Work with peers in Canada and around the Kellogg world as we learn from each other, build on successes from different parts of the Kellogg world, and truly leverage Kellogg’s global scale.



Law Degree from an accredited university in Canada or equivalent
Called to the Bar in Ontario, Member of Law Society of Ontario
Minimum 1-2 years related work experience in legal department or law firm
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Knowledge of and experience with contract law. Knowledge of corporate, marketing, advertising, food, and intellectual property law.
