18 month contract, with possibility of permanent position

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this position will be a key asset in the future growth of the company. This individual will be leading the FP&A Department and will be spear-heading the Company’s annual budgeting process, financial quarterly forecast, operating plan variance analysis and special projects. He/she will provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis and other projects requested by senior management. This function acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support ‘optimal’ business decision making.

Plan and lead the execution of the annual budget among with regional and corporate budget owners
Ensure a rigorous budgetary check points in order to meet financial and organisational objectives
Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools
Prepare and analyse quarterly and monthly financial reporting packages (regional VPs, bank, board, audit committee)
Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures
Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations supporting decision making
Supporting Executive Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis
In collaboration with the Corporate Controller, planning and financial analysis, simplify, standardise and automate reliable internal financial processes and systems and maintain relevant cost control measures
Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA is an asset
Experienced: 5 years experience in similar or equivalent roles. Experience in international multi-site environments
Multilingual: Fluent in English and French written & spoken. Spanish is an asset
Proficient: Proven leadership skills required
Proven capacity to perform in small & medium business environment
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated
High standards of integrity
