Great visuals tell stories that touch hearts, open minds, and even influence what we buy, eat, and do. That’s why CrowdRiff exists: to connect brands and consumers alike with the captivating imagery that makes a real impact. As a market leader in travel and tourism technology, we help get people excited to scuba dive in Tahiti, explore Napa’s wine country, and bungee jump in Queenstown.
Our team is a motivated and diverse crew that has one thing in common: our love for great visuals. Every day, we work across desks, departments and even oceans to reach our goals, and delight our customers. If you’re passionate about helping everyone see what matters, you’re just our type.
Senior Front-End Developer
We’re looking for a Senior Front-End Developer enthusiastic about creating experiences that surprise and delight users. In this role you will have an opportunity to work on a visual marketing platform that’s transforming the travel industry. This high impact role will work with our Discovery Team; the mission of this team is to connect CrowdRiff’s platform and the marketers who use it with the right content at the right time. As a vital member of this group, you will work, learn, and develop with a capable and very agile team which includes a scrum master, designers and other developers who are all invested in your success. The main tools you’ll work with are: TypeScript (please note that experience with TypeScript is not specifically required- we can help you learn that and we want to help you do so!), Node, React & GraphQL. Our API and backend services are written in Go; so if you're looking to grow into a full stack role, there's plenty of support for that at CrowdRiff.
We’re developing single page web applications written in React/Redux that talk to the backend, written with Express on Node over GraphQL + Apollo. All layouts and components are created using JSX. Components are housed and versioned in a common component repo and pulled into apps as needed. Builds are managed via Webpack and tested using Jest, Enzyme & Expect. Projects can be built & tested with a single command. Continuous Integration is done using TravisCI and once all tests pass, projects are auto-deployed to our Staging and Prod Kubernetes clusters and autoscale based on utilization. All of this is to say - this is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who likes to spend all their time doing what they enjoy most: building stuff.
