Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
Assist with and coordinate the recruitment and selection process for the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge to ensure that all staffing levels are met within all areas of the hotel
Ensure compliance with Fairmont policy and legal regulations in all aspects of the recruitment function
Process candidates through the candidate workflow, including but not limited to reviewing candidates, conducting and scheduling interviews, verifying references and facilitating offers of employment including background checks and references
Manage the internal talent scout process
Meet with Hiring Managers on a weekly basis to follow up with candidate flow and recruitment numbers
Complete Step 1 of entering new colleagues into HR Manager and create files for all new colleagues prior to Orientation
Sit in with departmental interviews to support Hiring Managers
Assist with the presentation of the recruitment section for Leadership Orientation
Assist with facilitation of Student Work Experience Program (SWEP) events
Assist with internal functions
Follow departmental policies and procedures
Follow all safety policies
Other duties as assigned

Qua lifications :
Previous human resources experience an asset
Recruiting and/or operational experience in a hospitality environment preferred
Previous hotel operational experience preferred
Must be computer literate in Microsoft Window applications, previous experience with Taleo Recruiting an asset
University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a very busy environment
Proven ability to build strong relationships and desire to maintain Guest Service Excellence by providing quality service to our internal guests
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
