Patient Finance Coordinator

We have an immediate opening for a highly motivated, multi-task oriented patient finance coordinator with a passion for women's reproductive health.

Hours are full time; 7.5 hours per day, M-F 5 days a week

This position will support the Vision, Values, Purpose and commitment of Genesis Fertility Centre and at all times be cognizant of the importance of patient safety. Reports to the Operations Director and ensures the provision of confidential administrative and clinical support for the purpose of maintaining accurate patient records and comprehensive patient care. This position assists with patient flow, teaching, data entry and supervised clinical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial orientations with patients
  • Manage over all AR of clinic, including patient billings, processing invoices and payments
  • Perform receptionist functions such as receiving visitors, answering the telephone, directing calls and taking messages; provide information and assistance in response to inquiries, as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Customer service focused
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • At least 2 years’ experience in fertility or health care industry
  • High degree of accuracy coupled with timely execution of tasks
  • Ability to set priorities and work with deadlines without supervision
  • High level of compassion and empathy when dealing with patients
  • Mature, professional, and able to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Ability to speak and write fluently in English. Mandarin speaking is an asset
