We are looking to build on our tradition of innovation and growth with the addition of a Sales Representativeto our team in each of our active, growing divisions: BMP Metals, CableTalk, and ClimateWorx. We specialize in custom products for a variety of industries including telecommunications, medical, nuclear, transportation, and military, giving you the freedom from monotony and exciting challenges to look forward to!

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with a background in metal products fabrication, sheet metal, or machining, with a general knowledge of HVAC, IT infrastructure, and data communication products, who enjoys a challenge and works well with a dynamic team. Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Sales Representative will assume responsibility for sales activities in pursuit of the company’s regional revenue and growth targets, driving top line results, customer acquisition, and growth across North American markets.

The position requires that the Sales Representative be strongly networked within the North American industry and be able to successfully orchestrate a sales process at multiple levels, presenting to and negotiating with senior decision makers. Drawing on extensive experience, existing industry contacts, and market awareness, the successful candidate will have the confidence to work autonomously and ability to make an immediate impact.

  • Actively participate as a member of the sales team and contribute to the overall corporate strategy.
  • Lead the development of sales strategies and execute the tactical implementation of the plans.
  • Maintain, improve and create senior level relationships with existing customers with a view to driving additional revenues.
  • Take a leadership role in major account relationships, closing value add deals and building ongoing partnerships.
  • Remain abreast of the industry, competitors and trends.
  • Work with internal engineering, design, and technical managers to ensure smooth installations and ongoing client satisfaction.

Preferred Experience

  • 7 - 10 years of progressive sales experience, preferably within the sheet metal manufacturing, HVAC, or IT infrastructure fields.
  • Proven track record of strategically building, leading, and driving successful sales plans.
  • Understands, participates, well networked within the North American telecom industry.
  • Strong team orientation well suited to constructive dialogue, finding solutions to achieve business goals, and ensuring strong, crisp execution to win.
