Position Title: Competitive Program Manager Assistant
Position Status: Full-Time, Summer Student
Location: Burlington, Ontario
Reports To: Competitive Program Manager
Start Date: Immediate

BURLINGTON SOCCER CLUB:
The Burlington Soccer Club (BSC), a not-for-profit organization, was established in 1962. Today, the Club has a tremendous amount
of both male and female, youth and adult, soccer players and is one of the largest soccer Clubs in Ontario. The BSC is home to the
Burlington Bayhawks and is proud of its competitive team successes over the years, including 42 provincial championships and 13
national championships.

SCOPE:
As part of the Competitive team and reporting to the Competitive Program Manager, this position is responsible for assisting and
supporting the Competitive team. The position assists in all aspects of development program and will include administrative duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
  • Session planning
  • Session Delivery
  • Responsible for field set up and take down
  • Assist with Game Days – Set up, coaching
  • Assist with equipment coordination
  • Interact with Club Membership and Coaches
HOURS & EXPECTATIONS:
  • Start Date: May 11th – August 27th 2020
  • Monday – Thursday 2pm-9.30pm (May vary)
  • Saturdays 8am – 3pm (May vary)
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Current enrollment or interest to enrol in an undergraduate course for Sports Management (Sports related)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Must have a valid G license
  • Multitasking abilities
