This is a dynamic, guest facing position primarily focused on hill and in our parking lots. The Guest Services Volunteer Ambassador/Greeter will display the enthusiasm and energy that Blue Mountain Resorts prides itself on. This position may be the first point of contact for guests on the mountain or when they arrive on resort. It is critical the Ambassador provides the kind of genuine, courteous and helpful customer service that generates the ‘Wow!’ factor.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
Interact with Guests on Hill- approach, introduce yourself and instigate conversation.
Interact with guests in parking lots – engage, approach, introduce yourself and instigate conversation. Provide directions and support to guests who are arriving on resort.
Share your passion and knowledge of Blue Mountain and help orient guests to the Mountain.
Extensive resort knowledge – resort events, amenities, restaurants, childcare and parking facilities.
Support the Guest Services team and Events Team in promotion, organization and execution of activities and special events.
The Volunteer Ambassador is required to complete Twenty (20) shifts over the 21 week winter season. (dependent on Winter Season). Of those 20 shifts, four (4) will be allocated to working in the parking lot.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
Intermediate to advanced skiing and/or snowboarding skills
Ability to work independently, multi-task and problem solve as well as manage challenging situations.
Team orientated with an energetic, friendly, cheerful and animated demeanor.
