You will support the general manager in strategic activities associated with the overall management of the caisse, specifically with the strategic streams and in relation to financial performance and risk management. You will help develop, implement and monitor the business plan. You will ensure the overall strategic management of a work team dedicated to control, risk and compliance. The team is composed primarily of the IT support advisor (N-7), the compliance, internal control and risk management officer (N-8), the control, compliance and risk consultant analyst (N-7) and an administrative assistant (N-4).

Contribute to the development of corporate and private sector business strategies in line with Desjardins Group's strategic orientations and the Caisse's issues. To this end, carry out analyzes aimed at identifying them and ensuring the revision and alignment of strategic orientations with priority issues, by proposing solutions aimed at minimizing impacts.
Coordinate cross-sector initiatives and high-profile special projects for the caisse.
Oversee the integration of various solutions from the Federation.
Analyze financial results, monitor budgets, produce financial statements and manage cash risks.
Serve as a liaison between the caisse, the Shared Services Centre and caisse managers, and oversee and implement effective approaches to improve profitability. Assist with and coordinate the management of administrative activities for the entire caisse, such as relocation, move, transformation, change management, process optimization, the management of deliverables, building management, material resources and computer equipment management.
Guide and advise caisse management on the policies, practices and programs to be implemented in compliance with legal requirements, and update and improve risk management and compliance processes and practices.
In collaboration with the general manager, manage and facilitate committees, major events, Board meetings, special projects and activities (e.g. establishing the caisse’s strategic planning and change management process following an organizational transformation such as a merger).
Implement management and communication practices to facilitate talent acquisition and management, team synergy and change management, all in keeping with Desjardins Group values.
Facilitate, coach and motivate the team so as to develop skills, boost employee engagement and increase accountability.
Support your sector’s business plan by successfully managing individual and team performance. Ensure the caisse’s outreach in the community.
Promote the cooperative values of the caisse.
