Your role with us:

Ensures an optimal customer service:

  • Listens actively to customers to advise them on products, prices and availability in order to satisfy their needs. Answers technical questions.
  • Receives and processes customer orders (phone, email in, fax, etc)
  • Prepares quotations and standard tender requests.

Is proactive in sales:

  • Provides support to the local account executives for back-office activities.
  • Leverages sales promotions (national, regional or store) to grow sales.
  • Performs phone “cold-calls” for network customers and “blitz” in some market segments.
  • Does post-sales follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction

Coordinates logistics and participates to stores replenishment:

  • Organises the display of products in the store
  • Identifies and respects our commitment to our customers and ensure that deliveries are made in time.
  • Process and confirm delivery slips.
  • Communicates with the logistics team to ensure cylinder replenishing.

Competencies and Profile

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of industry experience, customer service or sales of welding or industrial products;
  • Knowledge of welding processes and products is an asset but not mandatory;
  • Ability to lift and/ or roll cylinders as necessary. Lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis;
  • Good knowledge of computer systems and google suite;
  • Secondary diploma;
  • Bilingualism is an asset.
