DEPARTMENT: Bike Park Trail Crew
STATUS: Full time, Seasonal
REPORTS TO: Trail Crew Supervisor
WORKING HOURS: 40 hrs. per week
Passionate about Mountain biking and mountain bike trails
Trail building and/or trail maintenance experience
Enjoy working outside and able to work in all weather conditions
Capable of heavy physical labour
Able to follow directions and work within a team environment
Experience with mini excavators, pumps, and chainsaws an asset
Mountain bike trail design skills an asset
Trail building work-shops & seminars an asset
Maintain existing trails, structures and features in Bike Park
Build new trails, structures and features to industry standards
Ensure proper signage is appropriately placed and maintained according to industry standards
Use of all safety equipment required in the performance of daily activities.
Follow the occupational health and safety regulations
Follow Standard Operating Policies and Procedures as written.
Proper assessment of risks/hazards and rectify as required to ensure the safety of self/other employees/contractors and guests.
Maintain and care for company equipment and facilities in an acceptable manner.
Complete Maintenance logs and documentation records
Prompt return to work after breaks from work. Any food or supplies required for breaks will be taken to the worksite. Breaks will be only from the time work stops until the time it starts again and does not include travel time to retrieve things.
Willingly follow the directions as given by assigned supervisors and managers
Adhere to company policy as it applies to your job and conduct while at work
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Additional duties as required
Summer staff pass and summer staff benefits
Wage $14.60 - $15.00 dependent on experience
