Reporting to the Sr Manager, Cyber Security this position will primarily focus on securing our Industrial Control Systems (ICS). This will be achieved via implementing projects such as a central DMZ, coordinating cyber security assessments, creating and updating cyber security policies and procedures, and being a point of contact for cyber security within ICS environments.

Additionally, the position will be responsible for providing the appropriate teams with guidance on security issues that need to be remediated, building relationships with site personnel and reporting on progress to and obtaining project and initiative approvals from senior management. The individual must have a strong awareness of current and developing security threats to industrial control systems and technologies to support research and recommendations.

What you will do:
Develop security design and security architecture within ICS and DMZ environments.
Develop ICS Security Policies, Standards and Procedures based industry standards, regulations and best practices.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders in developing and implementing infrastructure and associated standards and procedures.
Assist in determining and implementing the Management and Governance for a centralized support model which involves many pillars for an environment that doesn’t currently have centralized support or agreement between relevant parties.
Identify and design new security technologies and solutions in the ICS and DMZ environments.
Work with and guide IT teams to deploy security technologies within the ICS and DMZ environments.
Participate in ICS cyber security risk assessments.
Complete on-site visits in support of cyber security risk assessments.
Assist with developing security plans, designs and guidelines for remediating security risks in the ICS and DMZ environments
Develop and maintain relationships with OT and IT personnel at plant sites and corporate offices.
Perform risk analyses on initiatives and new technology and provide customized recommendations for improving overall security posture for initiatives and new technology.
Provide secure network design recommendations within ICS environments
Design and present monthly security awareness presentations to IT/OT personnel
Examine and authorize firewall rule requests prior to implementation
Research new ICS security technologies and solutions
Work with and guide SOC team members to build SOPs and triage events and alerts from security technologies and solutions in the ICS and DMZ environments.

What you will bring:
Ability to apply cyber security skills across a broad range of cybersecurity domains
Experience developing and implementing cyber security projects in an ICS environment
Post-secondary Degree or Technical Diploma is preferred.
SANS GSEC and GICSP certifications.
A thorough knowledge of industrial control systems, cyber security, and an awareness of threats and malicious activities as they pertain to ICS.
Knowledge of ICS Cyber Security frameworks, standards and guidelines
Understating of the importance of developing and maintaining relationships with facility personnel
Excellent communication skills and Technical writing skills.
A customer focused attitude that enables the business to operate effectively in a secure manner.
Ability to educate and coach other OT and IT staff members on ICS cyber security issues.
Previous experience in similar ICS projects/environments
Previous experience working with remote facilities/developing relationships with remote facilities
Previous experience working with technical site personnel
