Oakville Tire and Auto Centre Ltd. is looking to hire a qualified Service Advisor for our well-established independent automotive repair facility. With high levels of customer service as our goal we are looking for somebody able to communicate and document customer concerns while maintaining excellent problem solving skills and business standards. Oakville Tire and Auto Centre provides a good balance between a relaxed atmosphere and a professional image with quality service for our clients.
The task of service advisor will include booking in customer vehicles for repair, writing work orders with pertinent information, quoting parts and services, and updating job status to customers. The Service Advisor will also be required to quote tire sales both over the phone and on-line through e-mail.
This is a full-time position from Monday – Friday with alternating Saturday mornings.
Salary is based on experience and knowledge.
Greet customers in a timely and friendly manner while providing exceptional customer service at all times
Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles, secure agreement from customers before repairs, cost estimates and approximate time when vehicle’s work will be completed
Follow up progress of each repair order during the day, contact customers by telephone or e-mail regarding changes in the estimate or time promised
This position requires a very organized person with an outgoing personality who can be very patient in times of stress and is able to have an understanding of the customers’ needs and treat them with genuine courtesy and concern.
