Job Description
The Data Integrity & Logistics Coordinator position requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
Logistics
· Organize daily deliveries and pickups within Southwestern Ontario communicating with customers and vendors on their availability
· Create and communicate efficient routes to a team of 4 drivers, printing paperwork, providing maps, pallet counts, or unique details to ensure successful deliveries
· Provide timely support to drivers, communicating any last minutes schedule changes or road side assistance, and following routes using logistics software – Omnitrack
· Schedule third party trucking pick ups, ensuring accurate details are provided and confirmations are received
· Organize on-site products receiving by entering purchase orders and communicating delivery times with the Shipping department
· Stay up to date on Ontario’s Highway Traffic Acts, acting as a resource as required
· Track final product shipments, costs, and timelines according to requirements
· Resolve shipment and inventory issues, following up on any errors
Data Integrity
· Audit bill of landings for accuracy, prepare and file documentation
· Review Bill materials to accurate details, cross-referencing ingredients, best before dates and method of preparation
· Keep detailed, organized records of orders and bookings
· Analyze data, and suggest modifications and improvements accordingly
Preferred Qualifications
- Confidence and 2+ years experience with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel required
- 2 years of experience in Planning, Logistics, Dispatch, Purchasing, Inventory Control, or other Supply Chain roles preferred
- Post-Secondary degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, preferred
- Commitment to collaboration and problem solving
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Work Schedule
The proposed work schedule shall be Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm to cover shipping requirements. The three weeks leading up to Thanksgiving and Christmas will require scheduled Saturday shifts.
