INSIDE TECHNICAL SALES – location Delta BC, Western Canada Sales Office (BC, AB, & SK)

Our growing, successful company is seeking to hire an Inside Technical Sales Representative for our Delta BC office. This individual will be responsible for assisting and guiding customers through the sales process via phone, chat and email, and providing an excellent customer experience. You will help with order processing, quote preparation, provide product information and spray application assistance, and support outside technical sales representatives.

You will be part of a strong team committed to outstanding service and building strong customer relationships. You need to have sales or customer support experience; have excellent communication skills; thrive on positive customer interactions and enjoy a busy work environment in a small sales office environment. You will be provided with all the tools, training and support you need to be successful, maximize your productivity and capitalize on your talent.

Functions:

  • Order processing
  • Prepare quotes, manage orders
  • Advise customers on the choice of products or solutions
  • Organize workshop, plan trials, ensure purchase of supplies
  • Organize exhibitions and / or seminars
  • Maintain our databases
  • Occasionally conduct site visits to clients or other company offices

Inside Technical Sales Representative Requirements:

  • Sales experience, preferably with technical products (experience with industrial products is an asset)
  • Technical Associate Degree or BA or BS
  • Willingness to spend 90% of your time interacting with customers and colleagues
  • The ability to learn a diverse product line, ERP system, digital marketing tools and customer relationship management program
  • Self-initiative, energetic, positive, professional attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Pride in providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to be self-driven and work in a small sales office environment
  • Occasional overnight travel for trade show support and training opportunities and meetings

  • Possibility of additional commissions based on a percentage of sales
