Our Downtown Dental Office is expanding our team! We are looking for a full-time Level II Dental Assistant!

Fully computerized, organized, dental office in DOWN TOWN TORONTO, looking for an experienced, knowledgeable, friendly hygienist. The position starts part-time leading to full time for the right candidate. If you are professional, love what you do, good team player, committed to your continuing education,self-motivated, and reliable dental assistant with excellent communication skills and a quick learner with eagerness to acquire new skills, this is the right opportunity for you.

Applicants MUST be available every: Mondays, Wednesdays,Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays

Qualifications & Duties include (not limited to):

-Prepare examination and surgical rooms

- Take dental x-rays, impressions, scans, and prints images/photographs. Take impressions for study models, appliances and patients

-Sterilization-maintaining current standards set out by Public Health/RCDSO protocols

-Familiar with ODA Guide and codes

-Digital radiographs

-Assist in updating and maintaining client dental records

-Assist in the performance of more complicated surgical procedures

- Prevent the spread of infection and disease by maintaining a surgically clean work environment

-Admin help, Engages patients to ensure a caring environment. Explains procedures to patients/parents if appropriate.

- The ideal candidate for this position has experience working with patients of all ages.

- Must have excellent written and communication skills.

- Sundries ordering, stocking, inventory
