This role is for a Partner Manager focused on driving sales and $ACV growth with our Platinum & Gold level partners in Canada. The individual must have strong knowledge of sales management and sales processes. The ideal candidate will also have strong industry knowledge in AEC & MFG Sales though it is not mandatory. They will take a leadership position with their assigned Channel Partners through enabling, influencing, coaching, and motivating partner executives and sales teams. The role is accountable to the development and execution of joint quarterly sales plans that drive expansion and new growth in their partner’s Autodesk markets and customers.
The role will need strong influencing and relationship building skills to motivate and align with their assigned Partners. Partner Manager’s will also be involved in identifying and formulating recommendations to help solve Partner’s business challenges which limit expansion and growth of the partner’s Autodesk business. Acts as liaison between Partners and Autodesk in order to facilitate effective joint execution of sales plans, open communications, and healthy business relationships. Ultimately, a successful Partner Manager is viewed as a trusted Autodesk Sales Manager by Partner leaders and sales teams while driving growth and expansion of their Autodesk business.
Meet with assigned Partners to develop quarterly sales plans
Execution of agree upon quarterly sales plan
Inspect and measure performance against plan and ability to make adjustments as needed to ensure execution
Ensure assigned Partners understands product and marketing information and is capable to represent Autodesk in relevant industries, products, services and strategies
Ensures partners are effectively utilizing Autodesk sales tools as part of quarterly execution
Assists and holds Partners accountable to execution of defined quarterly sales plans via partner sales rep mentoring and situational coaching
Coordinates joint execution of quarterly sales plans with extended Autodesk sales teams
Identifies causation of over/under partners performance through a variety of methods (pipeline management, observation, feedback, etc) and modifies plans accordingly
Will leverage partner’s pipelines to coordinate management of joint opportunities between Partners and extended Autodesk Sales Teams
Develop recommendations to improve partner’s sales strategies, coverage, and capabilities
Present quarterly partner performance reviews to key Autodesk stakeholders
Understand the partner’s business, organization and industries to better align and leverage the partner’s strengths
Works closely with assigned Partner Business Consultant on the partner’s annual business plan
Oversees contractual requirements with partners
Minimum 8 years of direct or indirect sales experience
Knowledge of sales management principles
Knowledge of channel management principles
Ability to influence and motivate without direct authority
Knowledge of Autodesk software and solutions
Knowledge of AEC or MFG Industry
