Pourquoi ce role est-il important?

This position plays a key role in multiple workstreams that cross the Grocery Retail Teams - reporting simplification, budgeting, forecasting, etc. The Central FP&A Team is a unique group within Loblaw that provides support to business partners across a wide range of activities. The team works closely with divisional FP&A teams to drive consistency and efficiencies in processes, and coordinates key business activities across the Grocery Retail teams. Key focuses include Reporting, 3 Year Plan, Periodic Budgets and Periodic Forecasting, along with driving the design, implementation and evolution of our Hyperion-based budgeting and forecasting tool.

Accountabilities:
Champion ongoing efforts to redefine our reporting platform through simplification, standardization and automation across the divisions
Key participant in Reporting Workstream project
Host periodic reporting review meetings with both Grocery Retail Finance leadership team, as well as the larger Grocery Retail finance team
Coordinate and facilitate reporting interactions between BICC and Grocery Retail teams
Design and build of reports for use across Grocery Retail divisions
Key advocate of budgeting and forecasting technology (Hyperion-based ePB), including building and executing the roadmap within Hyperion, and integration of Hyperion into existing tools and processes to drive efficiencies
Coordinate processes and inputs between divisions and key stakeholders for both 3 Year Plan and Periodic Budgets
Maintenance of Store Budget processes and templates
Ongoing maintenance and evolution of forecasting tools and processes
Preparation of materials for Period Review Deck
Coordinate annual STIP review and exception process for senior leaders
Train and develop staff, including overseeing performance evaluation and career development
Perform ad hoc requests as required

Job Qualifications:
University degree in Business or a related field and accounting designation (CPA) is an asset
Minimum 5-8 years in related Finance roles
Strong business acumen, with an ability to focus on continuous improvement
Ability to build excellent interpersonal relationships and work effectively as part of a team
Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
Quality driven and detail oriented
Strong problem solving, analytical and conceptual skills; can see the “big picture” in a complex environment
Experience/knowledge with Microstrategy is an asset
Excellent technical skills, specifically with MS Office applications, and experience in financial modeling and data management
