We are looking for a Business Development Representatives to join our growing software sales team. You will be responsible for handing over qualified opportunities to your colleagues from the Sales Team. You will participate in prospect discussions and product demonstrations. Ideal for new grads and sales people looking to join a growing SaaS company. eCompliance ( is a leader in providing software-as-a-service (SaaS) to companies to help them better manage the occupational health and safety function. The software is designed to improve company communication and to keep employees safe. We need you to help us meet new companies.

Here's what you will be doing:

  • Building industry knowledge on our target market through structured training program and exploration
  • Uncover needs and generate interest in our product via cold and warm calling from lists and research
  • Qualify leads based on specific guidelines and criteria, while working in a CRM (SFDC)
  • Book demos & site visits for Sales Team
  • Practice pipeline management and follow up skills
  • Participate in social media and learn the industry
  • Work closely with the Sales & Marketing teams
  • Participate in continued training for your next promotion

Who are we looking for? A business person who can sell:

  • Confidence & comfortable to cold call and engage in meaningful discussions
  • Self-starter with the ability to plan, organize, schedule and follow through
  • Strong capacity to learn and command of the English language
  • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
  • Highly proficient level of computer skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, JoinMe, and SalesForce
  • Must be team oriented with an openness to growth and professional/ personal development
  • Industry, Customer Service and previous Business Development experience considered an asset
