The role
We are looking for a Business Development Representative who will focus on generating new opportunities. Daily activities include account planning, prospect identification, lead generation, sales calls, and booking online/in-person demos for Account Executives. We need quick-thinking, vibrant and naturally curious individuals to help boost our revenue growth.

Generate new pipeline through prospect engagements including cold-calling, e-mailing, and marketing activities
Achieve a minimum number of appointments per quarter for the direct sales team
Maintain accurate accounts, opportunities and contact information in our CRM system
Deliver reports to management and provide feedback from conversations with prospects
Assist the development of marketing content including: e-mail campaigns, white papers, presentation decks and other marketing collateral
Develop and maintain expert knowledge in the features, benefits and application of the PayProp offering
Understand the competitive landscape
Desired skills and experience
2-5 years sales' experience, preferably in a start-up environment
Must be independent, self-starter, highly resourceful and an out-of-the-box thinker
Proven success in building a qualified pipeline and identifying new opportunities
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Passionate about sales, software and technology with an excellent work ethic
A track record of achievements or competition
Independent, highly motivated, success-driven approach to all activities as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up type environment
Undergrad or college degree is considered an asset
